Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lancrs Academy website, services, and programs, including the Full Stack (MERN) program (“Program”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website, enrolling in any program, or using any Lancrs Academy services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the website or services.

2. Eligibility & Account

• You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and onboarding.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We may require identity verification to prevent fraud or misuse.

3. Program Structure & Delivery

The Full Stack (MERN) Program is designed as a structured training experience that may include live sessions, recorded content, projects, assessments, mock interviews, mentor support, and community participation.

• Program duration (training): 6 months (unless specified otherwise for your batch).
• Schedules, screening day, and milestones are communicated after the program starts.
• We may update content, instructors, tools, or delivery format to improve quality or due to operational requirements.
• Offline/online availability depends on city capacity and batch availability.

Missing sessions does not automatically extend the program. Recordings (if provided) are for catch-up only.

4. Fees, Payments, EMI & Scholarship

• Program fee is communicated on the checkout/enrollment page or via official counseling communication.
• Any scholarship is subject to eligibility and assessment outcomes and may require a 1:1 evaluation session.
• EMI/financing options (if offered) are provided through third-party finance partners and are subject to their terms, approvals, and interest rules.
• You are responsible for timely payments and any documentation required by finance partners.

If you choose EMI, your repayment obligations to the finance partner remain independent of the program’s refund/placement policy.

5. Refund & Placement Policy

Refunds (if applicable) are governed strictly by the Lancrs Academy Refund & Job Placement Assistance Policy for the Full Stack (MERN) Program. By enrolling, you agree to that policy and its criteria, timelines, and screening requirements.

6. Placement Support & Direct Interviews

Lancrs Academy provides job placement assistance and arranges direct interview opportunities through its hiring network, subject to candidates meeting the program’s performance requirements and screening criteria.

• Placement assistance includes resume building, interview preparation, mock interviews, and interview coordination support.
• Direct interview opportunities are shared for eligible candidates based on readiness, performance, and role-fit.
• Offer decisions, salary, joining date, and employment terms are decided solely by the hiring company.
• Any misconduct, false information, or policy violation may result in removal from placement support.

7. Code of Conduct

You agree to maintain professionalism and a safe learning environment. You must not:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against any learner, staff, mentor, or hiring partner.
• Share or sell course materials, recordings, assessments, interview questions, or internal resources without permission.
• Cheat in assessments, submit plagiarized work, or misrepresent project ownership.
• Attempt to disrupt sessions, platforms, groups, or community channels.
• Use the community or hiring channels to spam, solicit, or promote unrelated products/services.

8. Intellectual Property

All course content, videos, slides, templates, question banks, tools, and materials provided by Lancrs Academy are owned by Lancrs Academy or licensed to it, and are protected by intellectual property laws.

• You receive a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access materials for personal learning use only.
• You may not copy, distribute, resell, publicly display, or create derivative works from our materials without written consent.

9. User Content & Submissions

You may submit assignments, projects, recordings, or messages (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. However, you grant Lancrs Academy a limited right to use it for:

• Evaluation and feedback
• Internal quality improvement and mentoring
• Showcasing success stories (only with your consent where required)

Do not submit confidential employer information or proprietary client data.

10. Privacy & Communication Consent

By registering, you authorize Lancrs Academy to contact you via email, phone call, WhatsApp, or SMS for program delivery, updates, placement assistance, and relevant program communication, even if you are registered under DND/DNC/NCPR services. This authorization may remain valid for up to 365 days from your registration date.

Your data is handled as per our Privacy Policy. Please publish/link your Privacy Policy page.

11. Suspension/Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform, program, community, or placement support if you: violate these Terms, violate program rules, engage in misconduct, provide false information, or misuse our services.

Termination may affect refund/placement eligibility as per the Refund Policy.

12. Disclaimers

• Program content is provided for educational purposes and may evolve based on market needs.
• Hiring decisions are controlled by third-party employers; Lancrs Academy is not responsible for employer actions.
• We do not guarantee specific salary amounts unless explicitly stated in a written guarantee on your program page/policy.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lancrs Academy and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website, program, or placement services.

If required by applicable law, liability will be limited to the amount paid by you for the program in the last 6 months.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lancrs Academy, its founders, employees, mentors, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of services, or infringement of any third-party rights.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website or services after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in [Kolkata, West Bengal], unless otherwise required by applicable law.
